Why do we need to protect our vultures?

Vultures play a crucial role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by consuming dead animals, thereby preventing the spread of diseases. Unfortunately, these remarkable birds are now endangered. They face threats from collisions with power lines and windmills, poaching, poisoning, and the mistaken belief that they possess medicinal properties.
